The purpose of the Jefferson County Democratic Association is to help elect Democrats to local, state, and national office. To accomplish this, the Association will: • Expand and unite the Democratic Party in Jefferson County for the common cause and good of the Party; • Advocate and disseminate information about Democratic Party principles and policies; • Encourage citizens to participate in the governmental process; and • Support Democratic candidates at the local, state, and national level.
Meetings are (usually) at 7:00pm on the fourth Thursday of every month in the basement of the Charles Town Library. Meeting dates for 2010 are listed in the JCDA Google Calendar.

Occasionally a meeting date is changed. Please sign up at a meeting or online to add your name to the JCDA email distribution list to be notified of upcoming events.

Prices have gone up from last year. The membership year runs from the first of March through the last day of February. Remember, you must be a member for sixty days to be eligible to vote. We are offering you the option to make a donation as well. Thank you for your support.
